This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the Municipality of Port Hope (the “Municipality”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for a land inventory project as further described in the RFP Particulars section. 

An outline of the project’s background and purpose is available in Appendix B (Port Hope Staff Report PD-26-23).

This project has the following deliverables: 

• Review, classify and identify approximately 300 parcels of Municipal land holdings that could be brought forward for surplus to support the growing affordable housing and strategic economic development opportunities in the community.
• Review existing, research, draft, and bring forward new policies for the disposition and acquisition of land that supports the goals and objectives of Council and outline best practice in land inventory management and maintenance.
• Develop an inventory of lands in the Municipality that, based on land designations and zoning classifications, identifies all developed and undeveloped parcels for the purpose of supporting residential and economic development activities.
