This RFT is being issued, primarily as a means of securing services to undertake works to: 

            Lake Street Sewer Works:

• Rehabilitate approximately 1030 m of 450 mm / 600 mm dia. trunk sanitary sewer using CIPP lining technology primarily on or adjacent to Lake Street in the Municipality of Port Hope, including 370 m of trunk sanitary sewer rehabilitation through the Weir Group “ESCO Foundry” Facility located at 185 Hope Street South including rehabilitation of intermediate maintenance holes. Sewer rehabilitation work on Lake Street is itemized herein in Part B. Maintenance hole rehabilitation work on Lake Street is itemized herein in Part C.
• Remove and replace approximately 270 m of 600 mm dia., above-grade steel trunk sanitary sewer with PVC sewer of equivalent diameter constructed in an extension/widening of an existing berm between Lake Street and the CN rail corridor beginning 290 m west of the Port Hope Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in the Municipality of Port Hope. Replacement work on Lake Street is itemized herein as Part D.
• Construct approximately 11 m of new 200 mm dia. sewer on Lake Street south of the Rose Glen Road Right-of-Way. 

Port Hope WWTP Site Works:

• Replace an existing influent dispersion chamber onsite at the Port Hope WWTP, existing 450 mm dia. forcemain onsite at the Port Hope WWTP and portions of existing 600 mm dia. influent sewers onsite at the Port Hope WWTP. Replacement works at the Port Hope WWTP are itemized herein as Part E.
• Rehabilitate approximately 69 m of 1,200 mm dia. effluent outfall sewer using CIPP lining technology at the Port Hope WWTP. 
• Rehabilitate approximately 104 m of 600 mm dia. effluent outfall sewer using CIPP lining technology between the Port Hope WWTP and the Shoreline Chamber located on the shore of Lake Ontario, including trenchless repair of approximately 1.6 m of broken pipe using Link-Pipe technology. Rehabilitation work at the Port Hope WWTP is itemized herein as Part F.

Generally, the works include removals, sewer construction, earthworks/grading, trenchless rehabilitation (CIPP and Link-Pipe technologies) and restoration.
