This Request for Prequalification (the “RFPQ”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the Municipality of Port Hope (the “Municipality”) to prospective respondents to qualify for eligibility to provide an Office Addition to the Rural Works Garage as further described in in Section A of the RFPQ particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The Municipality is undertaking a project to add an addition to its Rural Works Garage located at 4741 5th Line, Port Hope. This addition is to provide new office and staff spaces for the employees working out of Port Hopes Rural Works yard. The proposed addition will be approximately 1300 square feet and will also include, a full kitchen, washroom, laundry room and locker room. The Municipality is seeking to pre-qualify five (5) General Contractors capable of providing services as described in this Request for Prequalification (RFPQ). The pre-qualified respondents will be invited to participate in a future Invitation to Tender (ITT) that is anticipated to be released in April 2025 for construction to start May 2025. The anticipated contract will be based on a CCDC 2 stipulated price contract. |
